About Us

Immigration & Secretarial Services Limited is situated in Oamaru in the South Island of New Zealand.

With a home-based office, we provide support and advice on many immigration matters, as well as secretarial services for anyone needing assistance in those areas.

  • Sylviane French-Canadian native who has dealt with the immigration process personally, which has provided her with a thorough understanding of what is important to clients, as well as a sincere and genuine empathy in relation to their personal circumstances.

  • Employed as a Legal Secretary in top-tier law firms in Canada and New Zealand for 28 years, two years of which were spent as an in-house immigration adviser.

  • Obtained Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice Level 7 in December 2016, and completed New Zealand Immigration Adviser Refresher Course (Level 7) in 2019.​​

  • Member of the New Zealand Association of Migration and Investment (NZAMI) since 2017 which provides opportunities for continued professional development.

  • Member of the Licenced Immigration Adviser Institute Inc - August 2022​​

We are dedicated to promoting and protecting our clients' interests in seeking immigration advice, and hold the knowledge required to provide personalised advice on most immigration matters.  We are renowned for achieving positive results for our clients regarding temporary entry and residence applications, Section 61 requests due to unlawful status, and appeals under the Immigration Act 2009 - including ministerial interventions.

 

We dedicate our working day to ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients by assisting them in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner through the immigration application process. This includes helping with completion and/or review of all necessary forms, as well as the drafting or typing of any documents that might be required.  We are comfortable with and skilled at handling problem applications.
