About Us

Immigration & Secretarial Services is situated in Oamaru in the South Island of New Zealand.

With a home-based office, we provide support and advice on many immigration matters for anyone needing assistance in those areas.​​

Jeremy

 

  • In 2015, Jeremy became a New Zealand Licensed Immigration Adviser.  He has helped individuals and families from all over the world with their temporary and resident visa matters and assisted employers with accreditation, sponsorship and visa assistance for their employees and families. With his extensive knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand immigration systems, he can plan recruitment strategies that align with the immigration policies of both countries.

  • Has worked in the recruitment industry for over a decade, including as the Managing Director of a nationwide labour hire company.​

  • Holds Human Resources and Psychology degrees from the University of Canterbury and is pursuing his Law degree.  Obtained Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice Level 7 in December 2015.​​

  • Member of the New Zealand Association of Migration and Investment (NZAMI) which provides opportunities for continued professional development.

  • Member of the Licensed Immigration Adviser Association.

  • Born in New Zealand to immigrant parents, Catherine has travelled extensively as a younger person and also with her family. Through her own experience with foreign immigration, she can also relate to the stress of its processes. 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (GDNZIA).

  • Member of the Licensed Immigration Adviser Association

We are dedicated to promoting and protecting our clients' interests in seeking immigration advice, and hold the knowledge required to provide personalised advice on most immigration matters.  We are renowned for achieving positive results for our clients regarding temporary entry and residence applications, Section 61 requests due to unlawful status, and appeals under the Immigration Act 2009 - including ministerial interventions.

We dedicate our working day to ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients by assisting them in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner through the immigration application process. This includes helping with completion and/or review of all necessary forms, as well as the drafting or typing of any documents that might be required.  We are comfortable with and skilled at handling problem applications.
